The KSC SMO and the KSC Office of the Chief Engineer (CE) provide oversight, value added products/services, and provide interfaces to NASA and non-government organizations outside of KSC in the following functional areas: program/project management, systems engineering, risk management, cost estimation/analysis, and software. The KSC SMO/CE Operational Plan defines the functions and services, as well as the processes used to implement and request the key services outlined.
